Background

Candance who was born and raised in Wisconsin is of Black, Welsh, Irish, English, Cherokee and Indian decent. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2009 with a degree in Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Black World Studies, she was faced with the global recession. Rather than feel discouraged she set out to forge a new path and the rest is history. Candance currently resides in Chicago but spends most her time on a plane jetting between friends, family and new adventures. As a contributor to several websites she has become a fresh voice on the subjects of Black culture and social change. At 22, Candance is a natural trendsetter and is poised to become one of the most successful change makers of her generation.

Vision

I want to empower all women to follow their dreams, defeat racial stereotypes and create cultural understanding while having as much fun as possible. It's just that simple.
